Construction and Kids

Well, Easter was a few weeks back so it is time I put up some more pictures. Below are some random shots of the kids, most of which showcase cutie outfits from their grandparents. I've also included a few shots from our first day of repairs on the house that we're selling : )

This first shot is of Maggie with her first set of pig tails. Cutie pie. Here are the kids on our way to church. Jacob was obsessed with Maggie's bow.

Beware cowboys...here comes cowgirl Maggie!

Next are the construction shots. This first one shows the slit made in the ceiling to accommodate the 16 foot beam.

Here are some supports put in the wall.

Finally, here's a shot of the beam after it has been installed and supported. The workers will put white wood around it so it looks a little better : )

Easter Bunny!

We had a wonderful Easter yesterday...we were able to have lunch with some good friends from college and their children, but we did miss spending the special day with our families as well. Below are some pictures from Easter as well as a few random shots. Much love!
Here are some shots of the kids and their Easter baskets...And some of us getting ready to go to church...all spiffed up.

And now for the random shots. It was my nephew Wesley's 3rd birthday this weekend and I made him a cake in the shape of the rocket from Little Einsteins. I think he really liked it!

Also, here is a shot of Maggie and her first ponytail. I couldn't get all her hair in it but it was adorable anyway! She is starting to look less like a baby and more like a little girl.

Birmingham Botanical Gardens

Sorry it has been a while since my last post. We accidentally left the camera in Birmingham and had to have it shipped back. Below you'll see some pictures I took of the kids (Emma Kate, Jacob and Maggie) at Birmingham's Botanical Gardens. You'll also see a Minnie Mouse birthday cake I made for a friend and some pics of Jacob helping Brent plant flowers in our yard.
