Learning to catch and eating chicken!

Jacob had quite a few accomplishments this past week. He caught his first ball last Friday and has been doing quite well with catching since then. He also ate chicken nuggets for the first time...yayy, meat! Jacob is also getting ready for his little sister. He has showed a lot of interest in my friend's baby girl, Violet and he got a chance to "hold" her the other day. He's growing up too fast! We also had a visit over the weekend from Gramma and Grandaddy.

Such a Big Boy

Jacob is learning to do so many new things these days. You'll see him dribbling the basket ball, building a tower of blocks, and "cleaning" off the coffee table. Mommy's little helper!

Yummy Popsicles

Jacob enjoyed a popsicle at a friend's house a few weeks ago. He's also teaching himself to play the piano...he's quite the prodigy. Lastly, you'll see Jacob with his two cousins (Max and Wesley) when we took a trip to the lake earlier in the summer. Wesley is eating a bloom from the plant and Max thinks it is hilarious.

New Hair-do and Coloring

Jacob got a hair cut this week and is showing it off below. He is also learning to enjoy coloring...although we have to work on teaching him the appropriate surfaces to color (i.e., not the floor, walls, clothing, tables, etc.)

Here are some recent pictures of Jacob. You can see that he got a little alarmed with cousin Max tried to hug him for a picture. He's also showing off his belly button. He's 18 months in these pictures.

Playing Around

Here are some new pictures of Jacob. He recently visited with our good friends Chet and Lori and fed some ducks and picked flowers (weeds!).

Well, after quite a while, I was able to get some pictures posted to the blog again. You'll see Jacob enjoying himself at the "Jumpy Place", playing around in his pool, eating a peep at a friend's house and giving me a wonderful Mother's Day kiss. Enjoy!
